Quality

We’ve bought things from CafePress before. Years ago, in a previous life, one of us ran a CafePress store, so we’re familiar with the quality of their work, which is excellent. Over half a decade later, we’re still wearing some of those t-shirts and they haven’t faded a bit!

Variety

CafePress allows us to offer a huge variety of products and designs without the ridiculous up-front costs that would be associated with getting this many different types of shirts professionally printed. This gives you more choice in terms of designs, colors, and styles, as we can afford to put up designs that only one or two people might buy, or even take requests for designs (send them to custerc at gmail dot com).

Flexibility

While CafePress is (sometimes) blocked in China, it seemed unwise to choose a store host based on what’s blocked and what isn’t, as that changes frequently and this blog is sometimes blocked, too. CafePress does ship internationally, though, which is likely useful to many of our customers. So whether you’re in China or the US or elsewhere, rest assured, your stuff will get to you.

Reliability

CafePress has been around longer than many of its competitors, and there’s a reason for that. They get a steady stream of traffic and customers because their products are affordable and well-made.
