		<description>I have no authority or deep insight, but reading the three sections, I would imagine they are all part of one question.  Rather than responding to only one of them, I believe the response they are looking for is to note that scientific progress and advancement is made largely by accident or through group processes, even when it appears that some individual had gained fame and notoriety as the inventor.</description>
